Waldorf Astoria Edinburgh - The Caledonian often referred to simply as The Caledonian or The Caley, is an ideal destination for those seeking a blend of historic charm, luxury, and exceptional hospitality in one of Scotland's most captivating cities.

This luxurious hotel has a rich history dating back to its opening in 1903 when it was known as the Caledonian Hotel. It was constructed by the Caledonian Railway Company, which aimed to provide an elegant and luxurious lodging option for travelers arriving in Edinburgh via their trains.

Architect William Hamilton Beattie designed The Caledonian Hotel in the French Renaissance style, boasting grand facades, ornate interiors, and a distinctive clock tower. Today, The Caledonian continues to stand as a testament to both Edinburgh's architectural heritage and its commitment to providing guests with a truly opulent experience.

The hotel has been using Broadstone for several years, with repeated assignments for the production of digital materials covering the entire hotel, including rooms, conference facilities, restaurants, spa, and banquet halls. The management has received training from Broadstone on how to implement the concepts we have delivered.

They have become a collaborative partner in Edinburgh, where they have invited local restaurants, activity operators, and competing hotels to follow their lead in using Broadstone to collectively boost additional sales with Broadstone's concepts. They have also been excellent ambassadors to their colleagues within the same chain in other destinations, including Paris.

We have been using broadstone for about for 2 years now and it has really been a fantastic storytelling tool for all of our presentation needs. when we go to trade shows we find that our clients say it has stood out amongst anyone else they have seen and really makes it feel like they have been to the hotel without even walking through the door.
